The new, lightweight Hydrostatic Arms feature a revolutionary locking system that produces a firm lock with very minimal effort. The system incorporates a technically advanced ball locking mechanism using hydrostatic action that is based on principles of modern hydraulics. With just a slight turn of the wrist, the arm securely locks in the desired position to firmly hold any camera, monitor, or accessory. This arm spans 7 inches and can support up to 4.4lbs. The 819 is the ideal companion for attaching a video monitor to a camera or using as a flag support. Like the 814, the pivoting pins are 1⁄4-20” and 3/8” threaded with one side offering a platform to provide a larger footprint for the equipment being supported by the arm. This replaces the Bogen Manfrotto 819.
